Author Guidelines

Article Submission and Editorial Workflow (OJS 3 Standard Format)

  1. Template Download
    Authors must download the official ANJM article template before preparing their manuscript.

  2. Manuscript Preparation
    Authors prepare their manuscripts strictly following the template and the Author Guidelines of JNM. All manuscripts must adhere to the required structure and formatting rules.

  3. Online Submission (OJS 3)
    Authors log in to the JNM OJS system using their registered author account.
    The manuscript file is uploaded through the "New Submission" menu and completed in all required metadata fields.

  4. Initial Submission Check (Pre-Review Evaluation)
    The Section Editor conducts an initial assessment to ensure that the manuscript meets all technical requirements, including:

    • Title, abstract, and keywords

    • Introduction

    • Methods

    • Results and discussion

    • Conclusion

    • Complete and accurate references
      If the manuscript does not meet these standards, it will be returned to the author for revision before entering the review process.

  5. Resubmission After Technical Revision
    Authors revise the manuscript based on the Section Editor’s feedback and re-upload the corrected version through the OJS system.

  6. Article Processing Fee (if applicable)
    Upon passing the initial evaluation, authors proceed with the required article processing payment via transfer to account number 387414614 (BNI) under Siti Haeriyah.
    (This step applies only if the journal implements APC.)

  7. Issuance of Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
    After confirmation of payment and successful completion of the initial check, the Section Editor issues a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the manuscript.

  8. Peer Review Process
    The Section Editor assigns the manuscript to qualified reviewers.
    Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and submit their assessments and recommendations through the OJS system.

  9. Reviewer Feedback to Authors
    The Section Editor returns the reviewer comments to the author for revision.
    Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the reviewer’s suggestions and upload the revised file through the OJS interface.

  10. Final Evaluation
    The Section Editor reviews the revised manuscript to ensure all reviewer comments have been addressed appropriately.

  11. Copyediting, Layout Editing, and Proofreading
    Once accepted, the manuscript enters the production stage, which includes:

  • Copyediting

  • Layout formatting

  • Final proofreading
    Authors may be asked to verify the final proof before publication.

  1. Publication
    The Section Editor approves the final version and schedules the manuscript for publication in an upcoming issue of the journal.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting the manuscript, authors are required to confirm that their submission meets the following requirements:

  • The manuscript follows all formatting and structural requirements stated in the ANJM Author Guidelines.

  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under review by another journal.

  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

  • All tables and figures are properly numbered, titled, and uploaded in acceptable formats.

  • Permissions have been obtained for all photos, datasets, or third-party materials included in the manuscript.

  • The manuscript file uses the official ANJM template.

  • All authors listed have approved the submission and agree to be responsible for the content.

  • Ethical approval has been secured for studies requiring it, and documentation is available if requested.

Authors must acknowledge these points before proceeding with the submission.

  • Required as part of the indexing, digital archiving, or DOI registration process

  • Required by law, court order, or regulatory authority

  • Permission has been explicitly granted by the data owner

Any external partners involved in archiving or indexing must comply with recognized data protection standards.
