POLA KONSUMSI MAKANAN SUMBER HEWANI DAN STUNTING PADA ANAK USIA 6-60 BULAN DI 5 POSYANDU WILAYAH KELURAHAN BUGEL TAHUN 2023

Latar belakang: Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan kognitif pada anak yang memiliki konsekuensi negatif menurunkan prestasi akademik dan menurunkan produktivitas saat dewasa. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan terdapat kasus stunting 23% di 5 posyandu wilayah keluragan bugel, angka prevalensinya melebihi angka stunting Nasional. Subjek dan metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross-sectional, menggunakan sampel sebanyak 82 anak berusia 6-60 bulan di beberapa posyandu wilayah kelurahan bugel. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil: terdapat kasus stunting sebesar 23,2%, anak laki-laki stunting 28,2% dan anak perempuan stunting 18,6%. Adanya hubungan signifikan antara konsumsi sumber protein hewani dengan stunting, p-value=0,003 (p-value≤0,05), OR=6,52. Konsumsi daging dan ayam secara independen berhubungan dengan stunting, sementara konsumsi ikan, udang, dan telur ayam tidak berhubungan dengan stunting. Kesimpulan: anak berusia 6-60 bulan dengan konsumsi makanan sumber hewani kurang berisiko 6,5 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami stunting dibandingkan anak yang mengonsumsi makanan sumber hewani cukup.
